College Notice

Ref. GMGC/ADMIN/26-27/No. 110                               Dates: 14/08/2026

Teachers, Staff and Students are invited to attend “Independence Day Programme” on Saturday, 15/08/2026 and kindly take note of the following: -

1)      Reporting Time: 9.30 am in the College Ground

2)      The programme will commence with the hoisting of the National Flag and mass singing of the National Song, ‘Vande Mataram’

3)      Everyone present must have the lyrics of the National Song on their personal device, downloaded from https://www.mha.gov.in/sites/default/files/NationalSongEng_06022026.pdf

Additionally, hardcopy print outs will be available in Office-II

4)      Performers will lead the mass singing under supervision of Dr. Arijit De

5)      This will be followed by a Cultural Programme to be held in LT2 & LT3

6)      And interdepartmental Quiz will be held after the cultural programme in LT4.

7)      Duty Roster for support staff:

a)      Ground and Venue preparation: - Sri Nanda Kisore Das, Sri Ranajit Banerjee

b)      Flag Hoisting: - Sri Avijit Banerjee

c)      Microphone, Speaker & Sound System: - Sri Barun Kr. Das
