Composition

Gokhale Memorial Girls' College was accredited by NAAC for the first time in 2008. Thereafter, the Internal Quality Assurance Cell or IQAC was re-constituted in 2014 and the elaborate process of re-accreditation started.
The College obtained a score point of 2.79 (CGPA) and a B+ Grade in the 2nd Cycle of Accreditation.

The College is at present in the 3rd cycle of accreditation. The IQAC was re-constituted as on 20.11.2018. View Notification

An important function of the IQAC, Gokhale Memorial Girls College is to develop pragmatic and attainable quality benchmarks for both academic and administrative activities and make quality enhancement an integral part of institutional functioning. It constantly endeavours to maintain academic discipline, conducts meetings with the Head of the Institution to draw up and/or appraise the plans and programmes of quality enhancement and strives for equal opportunities for all, the student and staff stakeholders. The IQAC also interacts with the entire staff as and when necessary. This helps all participants, teaching and non-teaching alike to get acquainted with the nuances of IQAC functioning and the NAAC agenda of total quality.
