New SEM-1 Students Must Register for ABC/APAAR ID by Oct 19 for Credit Mobility

As per National Education Policy 2020, the Academic Bank of Creadits (ABC) has been envisaged to facilitate the academic mobility of students with the freedom to study across the Higher Education Institutions in the country with as appropriate “credit transfer” mechanism from one programme to another, leading to attain a Degree/Diploma, etc.
It is mandatory to have ABC/APAAR ID for all future correspondences from either side of students and the college. This ID is also required during registration of students under Calcutta University.
In this regard, all the newly admitted, SEM-1 in Four-years B.A./B.SC. (Honours with or without research) courses students (Admitted during 2024-25 academic session) of this College are hereby directed to register themselves on ABC/APAAR through the website www.abc.gov.in on or before 19.10.2024 to utilise the facility of Academic Bank of Credit and Creadit Transfer in their future studies. View Details

The procedure to register on Academic Bank Credits (ABC) is as followes:

1. Visit www.abc.gov.in
2. Click My account > Student
3. For new user, click “sign up for Meri Pechaan” or if you already have a Digilocker account, then sign in.
4. Enter mobile number, and click “Generate OTP”. Submit the OTP and click on verisy.
5. Fill all necessary details and click on Verify.
6. Fill all necessary detail and click on Verify.
7. You will get your ABC/APAAR ID. Take a screenshot or Note down your ABC/APAAR ID for future reference.
