Basic Life Support (BLS) training sessions   

The Incubation Cell of Gokhale Memorial Girls' College, Kolkata is organizing a session by Fortis Hospital, Anandapur and Goenka College of Commerce and Business who are going to conduct Basic Life Support (BLS) training sessions for students and staff on 10th December, 2024, 3pm onwards in LT2. Students, teachers and staffs are requested to join the session.

Their aim is to empower individuals with life-saving skills and educate them on preventive measures for maintaining good health. With the rising cases of cardiac ailments regardless of any age group, it is crucial to learn Basic Life Support (BLS). BLS is important as it includes recognition of signs of sudden cardiac arrest, heart attack, stroke and foreign body airway obstruction, and the performance of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and defibrillation with an automated external defibrillator.
