The YPC team added another feather
in the cap of GMGC by securing the third position in the
YPC divisional level, which was held at Krishnanagar,
Nadia on November 19, 2022. Our girls left no stone
unturned to give their best at the competition. Maya
Dubey, of Third Semester, Political Science Honours
received an award for being the best female
parliamentarian. Their successful journey from district
to divisional level of Youth Parliament Competition has
been a learning experience for the other students.
Constant support and encouragement from the Head of the
Institution and the teachers have helped the students to
make a name for themselves with their impeccable
performance. They created history by being the first
team of GMGC to win such a prestigious competition both
at the district and divisional level YPC 2022-23.
Gokhale Memorial Girls' College congratulates the students for winning the district level Youth Parliament Competition. Their performance encompassed an array of socially relevant issues including mental health, women's reservation in public sectors, paternity leave. Getting the first position at the district level, they have added laurels to the glorious crown of this age-old institution.
